“So, tell me what three wishes you have and I’ll grant it for you.”

Masuda blink, blink again, and pulled his covers up to his head. He must be too tired.

Yup! He must be really, really tired. That’s the only reasonable explanation as to why he was seeing Tegoshi in his room at three a.m in the morning saying that he would grant him three wishes.

“Massu?”

Massu covered his ears.

“Hey Massu!!”

Massu started to count sheep. 1 sheep.. 2 sheep.. 3 sheep… 4 sheep…

“MASSU!!!”

He yelped when his covers was being taken away from his roughly.

“I’m talking to you!!” Tegoshi pouted.

“Te-Tegoshi??” Massu asked uncertainly “This is really you?”

“Of course it’s me!!”

Massu closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before opening them again “How. Did. You. Get. here???”

A bright smile flashed across Tegoshi’s face “Because I’m God, silly!! Well, not really God, but something like that.”

Massu rolled his eyes. Okay… maybe he’s in dreamland right now and all this was a dream.

“So, I will grant you three wishes. Say it out.”

“You can really do that?” Massu asked in disbelieve and half sarcastic.

Tegoshi nodded..

“Well, let’s see…. I want a box full of gyoza!!”

“Done!” Tegoshi waved his hand and a box of gyoza appeared on Massu’s lap.

Massu shook his head, then rub his eyes. He pokes the gyoza cautiously with his finger and shouted excitedly “It’s real!!!”

“Duh!! Of course it is!!”

Massu stares at Tegoshi and decided that he truly is dreaming.

“Now, what’s your second wish?” Tegoshi asked, bouncing here and there.

Massu look closely at him and bit his lip “Ne Tegoshi, why? Why are you granting me wishes?” Though it was only in dreams, he really wanted to know.

“Because Massu looks sad these days, I rarely see your smile again. I mean, your true smile.” Tegoshi explained “I don’t like it when Massu smiles like that… I… I just want to do something to make you smile like you used to smile…”

It wasn’t something that Massu expected to hear, he doesn’t know that people noticed his smiles were fake these days, especially Tegoshi. But, Massu also knew that deep inside he really wants someone to notice it.

Massu shook his head. This is afterall a dream. He reminded himself. And in dreams, you often hear what you wanted to hear.

“Ummm…. Welll… I just want everyone to be happy.” Massu tell him.

“Massu, you are supposed to wish something for yourself!!” Tegoshi protested “besides, I can’t do something like that. It affects the whole world.”

Sighing, Massu tried to think of something else. “Okay, I want the orange hoodies I saw in Shibuya yesterday.”

“Tra la la~” Tegoshi waved his hand again and the said hoodies pop up at once. “Now for the last wish!”

Massu frowned, trying hard to find something that he wanted.

“Massu, wish for something that you really really want okay.” Tegoshi told him with a serious expression.

It wasn’t something hard actually to know what he really wanted, Massu knew perfectly well what he wants, but he also knew that it’s not something you could ask for like the gyoza and the hoodies.

But hey, isn’t this a dream? Massu thought to himself In dreams you get what you want right?!

Massu’s eyes lit up at that realization and smiles widely “I know what I want for my last wish” He told Tegoshi who had been waiting for him. “I want you.”

Tegoshi was about to say ‘done’ but his mouth hung in mid air when it dawn on him what Massu’s wish was. “Massu…” He said slowly and almost in a whisper “Are you sure?”

Massu nodded his head confidently.

The corners of Tegoshi’s lips turn upwards and the next second he had flung himself on Massu, hugging the surprised boy tightly. “You don’t have to wish for that!! You could have just asked baka!!”

Though he was sure it was just a dream, Massu thought that his heart would burst in happiness. He pulled the smaller boy closer and thought that this was the best dream he had.

“Will you be mine tesshi?” Massu asked as he held Tegoshi’s face in his hand.

Tegoshi blushed and nodded quickly, he was too overwhelmed to say anything.

 Grinning, Massu closes the gaps between them and kisses Tegoshi deeply.

“I wish this dream never ends…” Massu mutters when their lips parted.

Tegoshi frown, he wanted to ask Massu what he meant by it but the chubby boy had fallen asleep. Smiling, Tegoshi snuggled close and decided that he might as well get some sleep.

The next morning Massu woke up in shock when he saw Tegoshi sleeping beside him.

“Why are you here Tesshi?” He asked.

“Wh-what do you mean?” Tegoshi squeaked, he was hurt by Massu’s question.

“OH MY GOD!!!!” Massu exclaimed a few seconds later. “IT WASN”T A DREAM!!!”

“Duh! Of course it wasn’t!!!” Tegoshi rolled his eyes, he was relieved that Massu doesn’t mean to kick him out of the bed or something like that. “I’m getting some sleep again, oyasumi.”

Massu stared at Tegoshi who was now sleeping again and felt that he was the happiest man on earth. That’s the best wish he had ever made and he knew that he will never regret it.
